Who wants wisdom? 谁想要智慧？We all do, don’t we? 我们都想，对吧？We need wisdom to make good decisions, 智慧让我们可以做正确的决定，avoid needless trouble, 避免不必要的麻烦，and navigate life’s challenges. 并应对生命中的挑战。So today, 所以今天，we’re looking at two kinds of wisdom James talks about- 我们要看雅各所说的两种智慧——earthly wisdom and heaven wisdom. 属地的智慧和属天的智慧。 Let’s read 我们来读James 雅3:13，Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 你们中间谁是有智慧、有见识的呢？他就当在智慧的温柔上显出他的善行来。14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 你们心里若怀着苦毒的嫉妒和纷争，就不可自夸，也不可说谎话抵挡真道。15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 这样的智慧不是从上头来的，乃是属地的、属情欲的、属鬼魔的。16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. 在何处有嫉妒纷争，就在何处有扰乱和各样的坏事。17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 惟独从上头来的智慧，先是清洁，后是和平，温良柔顺，满有怜悯，多结善果，没有偏见，没有假冒。18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. 并且使人和平的，是用和平所栽种的义果。

1. What does earthly wisdom look like? 属地的智慧是怎样的？ (v.13-16)

James starts with a challenge: 雅各以一个提问开场： Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom”. 你们中间谁是有智慧、有见识的呢？他就当在智慧的温柔上显出他的善行来。In the Hebrew tradition, 在希伯来传统中，wisdom (chokmah) wasn’t just about clever thinking or knowing lots of facts. 智慧（chokmah）不仅仅是头脑聪明或见多识广，It was about navigating relationships, 而是关于如何处理人际关系、money, 金钱、work, 工作、justice, 公平and faithfulness to God.和对神忠心。In the Greek world, 在希腊文中，wisdom (sophia) meant knowing how to act rightly and grow in good character. 智慧（sophia）意味着知道如何正确行事并在良好品格中成长。Across both cultures, 在这两种文化中，wisdom wasn’t proven by the knowledge you’ve gained, 衡量智慧的标准，都不是看你拥有多少学识，but by how you lived it out. 而是你怎样行出来。If I say, 我若说，“I know God is holy.” “我知道神是圣洁的，Then I need to hate pride, 那么我当恨恶骄傲、falsehood, 虚假、self-focused thoughts 自我中心的思想，and live out what is on His heart.” 我要活出祂的心意。” Biblical wisdom calls us to put truth into practice 圣经的智慧呼召我们将真理付诸操练，and live out what we’ve learnt. 活出我们所学到的。

That’s why James contrasts two kinds of wisdom: 这就是为什么雅各对比了两种智慧：Earthly wisdom and heavenly wisdom. 属地的智慧和属天的智慧。He says if you harbour bitter envy and selfish ambition, 他说，如果你心里怀着苦毒的嫉妒和纷争，don’t fool yourself, 不要自欺，that’s not from God. 那不是从神来的。v.15 is clear: 第15节说得很清楚：it’s earthly, 这是属地的、unspiritual, 属情欲的，even demonic. 甚至属鬼魔的。It’s serious, isn’t it? 这是不是很严重？In other words, 换句话说，whenever we let bitter envy or selfish ambition into our hearts, 每当我们让苦毒的嫉妒或争竞进入我们的心，we disconnect from God 我们就与神断开联系，and open the door to the devil. 并给魔鬼开了门。Bitter envy says: 苦毒嫉妒的人说：“Why them and not me?” “为什么是他们而不是我？” Selfish ambition shouts: 苦毒争竞的人就说：“I must be the first! “我要当第一！I need to be noticed.” 我要被关注。” These thoughts don’t come from God but the devil. 这些想法不是从神来的，而是从魔鬼来的。Over the last 20 years of deliverance ministry, 在过去20年的释放事工中，I’ve seen this over and over. 我多次看到这一点。It’s one of the enemy’s strongest weapons, 这是敌人最强大的武器之一，getting God’s people to look sideways, 让神的子民去看他人，to compare, 去比较， compete, 争竞，and lose sight of Jesus. 不看耶稣。But heavenly wisdom calls us to a better way. 但属天的智慧呼召我们走更美好的道路。

2, What does heavenly wisdom look like? 属天的智慧是怎样的？(v.17-18)

James says that heavenly wisdom is first of all pure. 雅各说，属天的智慧首先是清洁的。Why? 为什么？Because purity of the heart is foundational to other good fruit of the Holy Spirit.因清洁的心是圣灵其他美好果子的基础。Jesus said, 主耶稣说，“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” 清心的人有福了，因他们必得见神。(Matt 太5:8). When Isaiah saw God, 以赛亚因见神的面，he immediately cried out, 即刻喊着说： “Woe to me! I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, “祸哉！我灭亡了！因我是嘴唇不洁的人，又住在嘴唇不洁的民中；and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.又因我眼见大君王万军之耶和华。”(Isa 赛6:5) And when Peter recognised Jesus, 当西门彼得看见耶稣， he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “go away from me, Lord, I am a sinful man 就俯伏在耶稣膝前，说：“主啊，离开我，我是个罪人！” (Luke路 5:8). A pure heart doesn’t mean being flawless. 清洁的心并不意味着没有瑕疵。It means being honest before God, 它意味着在神面前诚实，recognising where we’ve fallen short, 承认我们的不足，and that we need Him to cleanse us continuously. 承认需要祂不断洁净我们。

The purity of the heart clears the way for the rest of heavenly wisdom to flow: 清洁的心可让属天的其他智慧顺畅地涌流：Peace-loving: 和平：not stirring up conflict but seeking harmony. 不引发冲突，而是寻求和谐。Considerate: 体贴：gentle, thoughtful of others. 温柔，关心他人。Submissive: 顺服：willing to listen and yield, not stubborn or pushy. 愿意倾听和顺从，不固执或强势。Full of mercy and good fruit: 满有怜悯和善果：overflowing with kindness and good deeds. 充满善意和善行。Impartial and sincere: 公正和真诚：treating everyone fairly, with no hidden agendas. 公平对待每个人，没有隐藏的动机。Then, what’s the result? 之后，其结果是什么呢？ Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness并且使人和平的，是用和平所栽种的义果。 (v.18). When I was preparing this message, 当我准备这篇信息时，I was reminded of a person, 我想起了一个人，named Joab, 名叫约押，the commander of King David’s army. 是大卫王的军队统帅。I encourage you to do your own study on Joab 我鼓励你们自己去研究约押的故事，and see what you take from his story. 看看从中能学到什么。Joab was a fierce worrier, 约押是个勇士，bold, 勇敢、skilled, 有才干，and loyal in some ways. 在某些方面也很忠心。But he lacked heavenly wisdom. 但他缺乏属天的智慧。Joab let earthly wisdom guide his choices: 约押让属地的智慧引导他的选择：bitter envy, 苦毒的嫉妒、selfish ambition, 纷争，and political scheming driven by a need to control outcomes. 和为达目的不折手段的政治手腕。For example, 例如，in 2 Samuel 3, 在撒母耳记下3章，when David wanted to reconcile with Abner, the commander of Saul’s army, 大卫有意与扫罗的军队统帅押尼珥和解，out of bitterness and grudge, 约押因苦毒和怨恨，or even fear of losing his position, 也害怕失去自己的地位，Joab killed him. 竟杀了押尼珥。

Later, in 后来，在2 Samuel 撒下18, King David’s son Absalom rebelled against his father, 大卫王的儿子押沙龙造反，David gave clear instructions: 大卫明确下令：“Be gentle with the young man Absalom for my sake”. “你们要为我的缘故宽待那少年人押沙龙。” But Joab, driven by what he thought was best, 但约押行自己认为的好，killed Absalom. 竟杀害押沙龙。 In 2 Samuel 20, 在撒母耳记下20章，After Absalom’s rebellion, 押沙龙的叛乱之后，David appointed Amasa as commander to replace Joab 大卫任命亚玛撒为统帅，取代约押。(2 Samuel 撒下20). But Joab couldn’t handle being replaced. 但约押不甘心被取代，He greeted him with a kiss and killed him. 就在亲吻问安的时候，杀了亚玛撒。Jealousy and ambition, 苦毒的嫉妒和野心，a hunger for control rather than trusting in God’s justice led to his downfall. 渴慕权力而不是信靠神的公义，导致了他的败亡。

3. How do we deal with earthly wisdom? 怎样除去属地的智慧？

Since we all have a sinful nature, 我们都有罪性，we all need to deal with earthly wisdom—我们都需要对付属地的智慧——the old way of thinking about what’s good or bad. 这种分辨好坏的旧有思维。It leads us to rely on our own understanding 它使我们依靠自己的见解，and compare ourselves with others. 和他人比较。When we see something good that we don’t have, 当我们看到好东西而自己没有，bitter envy and judgement can rise up. 苦毒的嫉妒和论断就会升起。When we see something as bad, 当我们视事情为不好时，fear creeps in, 就生出惧怕，and we try to take control我们试图控制局面or we blame others: 或者责怪他人：“It’s your fault I’ve suffered this loss.” “都是你，我才遭受了这损失。” When we go with  our own judgement, 当我们跟从于自己的论断时，we open the door for the enemy to mess with our relationships, 我们给仇敌开了门来毁坏人际关系，and even our wellbeing. 甚至毁坏我们的健康。Gaining heavenly wisdom starts from trusting in God not in ourselves. 获得属天的智慧始于信靠神，而不信靠自己。 Proverbs 箴28:26 says clearly, he who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept saft. 心中自是的，便是愚昧人；凭智慧行事的，必蒙拯救。

So here are some practical steps: 这里有一些操练步骤：A, Let the Spirit of God search our hearts. 让圣灵鉴察我们的心思意念。Just like David prayed in 大卫这样祷告说 Psalm 诗139:23-24: Search me, God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. 神啊，求你鉴察我，知道我的心思；试炼我，知道我的意念，See if there’s any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” 看在我里面有什么恶行没有，引导我走永生的道路。 If we want pure hearts, 如果我们想要清洁的心，we need to make this kind of prayer a regular habit, 我们需要将这种祷告变成一个习惯，inviting God to shine the light of His truth into the hidden places of our hearts. 让真理之光照进我们心灵的隐秘之处。Ask Him to reveal any judgements, 求祂启示是否有论断，good or bad, 好或坏的断定，that have allowed envy, 使嫉妒、selfish ambition, 纷争、rejection, 被拒绝感、pride, 骄傲or self-reliance 或靠自己to shape our decisions.影响了我们的思维。B. Confess it and receive grace. 承认并领受恩典。

 1 John约壹 1:9 says: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 我们若认自己的罪，　神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义； God doesn’t shame us. 神不会羞辱我们。He forgives and cleanses. 祂饶恕并洁净我们。When the Spirit reveals envy, 当圣灵揭示我们心中的嫉妒、selfish ambition, 纷争or any other sin in our hearts, 或任何其他罪时，don’t hide it. 不要隐藏。Be bold in confessing it. 要勇敢地承认，Bring it to the Cross 把它带到十字架前，and receive His grace and truth to renew you, 接受祂的恩典和真理的更新，so you can live a life marked by love, 这样你就可以过上充满爱、peace, 和平、forgiveness, 饶恕and blessing others. 和祝福他人的生活。 C. Practice gratitude and humility. 操练感恩和谦卑。Gratitude kills envy. 感恩消除嫉妒。When we give thanks for what we have, 当我们为所拥有的感恩，our focus shifts away from what others have, 我们的注意力就从他人拥有什么上转移，and we begin to find joy in God’s goodness to us. 开始在神给我们的恩典中找到喜乐。Humility keeps selfish ambition in check. 谦卑抑制争竞。It reminds us that life isn’t about being first, 它提醒我们，生命不是要争第一，but about following Jesus and letting God be first. 而是跟随耶稣，让神居首位。

Let’s finish by contrasting Joab with Jesus. 最后，我们来对比约押和耶稣。Joab embodied earthly wisdom: 约押体现了属地的智慧：acting out of revenge, 报复，grabbing for power, 争夺权力，and driven by bitter envy and ambitions. 被苦毒的嫉妒争竞驱使。But Jesus shows us heavenly wisdom. 但耶稣向我们展示了属天的智慧。Instead of clinging to power like Joab, 耶稣没有像约押那样紧抓权力，Jesus emptied Himself. 而是倒空了自己。Phil腓 2:5-8 says, “He made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant… 反倒虚己，取了奴仆的形像，成为人的样式……He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross.” 自己卑微，存心顺服，以至于死，且死在十字架上。Instead of seeking revenge, 耶稣没有报复人，Jesus forgave those who hurt Him. 而是饶恕那些伤害祂的人。As He hung on the cross, He prayed: 当被挂在十字架上，祂却祷告说： “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” “父啊，赦免他们！因他们所作的，他们不晓得。”(Luke 路23:34).

 In the Garden of Gethsemane, 在客西马尼园，when Peter drew his sword to fight, 彼得拔刀要打斗时，Jesus told him: 主耶稣却对他说， “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?” “收刀入鞘吧！我父所给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢？”(John 约18:11).  Earthly wisdom says, 属地的智慧说，fight for control. 要争取控制权。Heavenly wisdom says submit to God’s will 属天的智慧说，要顺服神的旨意，and wait for His judgement or exaltation. 等候神审判或高举。But that doesn’t mean stay silent on matters of justice. 但这并不意味着在公义的问题上保持沉默。What I’m talking about is at a personal level, 我所说的是在个人层面上，developing a oneness with Jesus 培养与耶稣的合一，in how we respond when we feel hurt or overlooked. 在对待受伤或被忽视时。Heavenly wisdom calls us to trust God to be our defender. 属天的智慧呼召我们信靠神成为我们的保护者。Jesus didn’t grasp for power or defend Himself. 耶稣没有争夺权力或为自己辩护。He trusted the Father to lift Him up in His time. 祂信靠父神在祂的时间里高举祂。 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time” 所以你们要自卑，服在　神大能的手下，到了时候，他必叫你们升高。 (1 Peter彼前 5:6).

One of the most beautiful pictures of Jesus’ heavenly wisdom is at the Last Supper. 其中一幅最美展现耶稣属天智慧的画面，是在最后的晚餐。Knowing that Judas would betray Him, 明知道犹大要出卖祂，Jesus still took a towel, 耶稣仍然拿起毛巾，bended down, 屈身，and washed Judas’ feet, 洗犹大的脚，the very feet that would soon walk out to betray Him 那双即将去卖主的脚(John 约13). That’s heavenly wisdom: 这就是天上的智慧：pure, 清洁、peace-loving, 和平、full of mercy. 满有怜悯。It doesn’t grab for power, 它不争夺权力，nor seek revenge. 也不借机报复。Instead, 相反，it submits to the Father’s will, 它顺服父的旨意，serves humbly, 谦卑服侍，and waits to be exalted in due time 甘愿等候神的时间被高举。Which wisdom will you choose? 你会选择哪种智慧？The way of Joab? 约押的道路？or the way of Jesus? 还是耶稣的道路？

 Prayer before Communion: 圣餐前的祷告：

Thank You, Jesus, for Your blood poured out for us. 感谢你，耶稣，为我们流出宝血。Thank You for laying Yourself down on the Cross to rescue us, 感谢你在十字架上舍己，拯救我们，forgive us, 饶恕我们，heal us, 医治我们，and call us into Your family. 并呼召我们进入你的家。You didn’t leave us stuck in sin, 你没有让我们陷在罪中，You made a way for us to be free, whole, and new. 而是为我们开辟了一条让我们得自由、得完全和被更新的道路。

Through Your cross, 藉着你的十字架，every chain can be broken, 每一条锁链都可以被打破，and every heart can be healed. 每一颗心都可以被医治。Thank You for Your incredible love for each one of us. 感谢你对我们每一个人的无比大爱。We worship You, Jesus. 我们敬拜你，耶稣。We honour You. 我们尊崇你。We give You all the glory. 我们将一切荣耀归给你。Today, as we come to Your table, 今天，当我们来到你的桌前时，we choose to be honest before You—我们选择在你面前诚实，opening our hearts to You, our loving Father.向你敞开我们的心，我们慈爱的父。

In the authority of Your name, Jesus, 奉耶稣的名，I break all agreements I’ve made with judgments shaped by my own eyes or ears. 我打破一切凭着眼见耳闻做出的论断。I believe Your truth: 我信你的真理：that in You, all things work together for my good because I love You. 在你里面，万事都互相效力，为叫爱神的人得益处。Nothing is bad. 没有什么是坏的，Everything is used to shape me more into Your likeness. 一切都被用来塑造我更像你的样式。I break myself  free from the chains of envy, selfish ambition, fear, and jealousy. 我释放自己脱离嫉妒、纷争、惧怕和妒忌的捆绑。

Holy Spirit, release resurrection power within me 圣灵，请在我里面释放复活的大能，and tear down every stronghold. 拆毁一切坚固的营垒。I renounce bitterness, envy, fear, and selfish ambition. 我弃绝苦毒、嫉妒、惧怕、纷争。I belong to Jesus. 我属于耶稣。I choose to forgive those who’ve hurt me. 我选择饶恕那些伤害过我的人。I choose to trust my identity in You. Create in me a pure heart. 我选择信靠在你里面的身份。求你为我造一颗清洁的心。

Plant within me Your heavenly wisdom—求你在我里面栽种你属天的智慧——pure, 清洁、peace-loving, 和平、gentle, 温柔、full of mercy and good fruit. .满有怜悯和善果。I receive healing as I believe in Your truth.” 我因信你的真理而得医治。” If there’s any part of your body that’s unwell, 如果你身体的任何部位不适，you can now speak healing in faith. 现在可以凭信心宣告医治。For the One who forgives our sin also heals our disease因那位饶恕我们罪孽的，也医治我们的疾病。

Now, those serving communion, please come forward. 现在，请那些负责分发圣餐的肢体上前来。The rest of us, feel free to continue in worship and prayer. 其他人可以继续敬拜和祷告。We’ll take the bread and cup together shortly. 我们很快就会一起领受饼和杯。

This cup reminds us of His blood, 这杯提醒我们祂的血，poured out to cleanse us and make us new—为洁净我们、更新我们而流出——so that we can live in His grace, 让我们可以活在祂的恩典中，walk in His wisdom, 行在祂的智慧中，and love as He loved. 并像祂那样去爱。
