（Acts 徒 19:1-20）

Renew Together week 2, we’re looking at Acts 19:1-20. 今天是共同更新的第二周，我们来读使徒行传19:1-20。 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 1亚波罗在哥林多的时候，保罗经过了上边一带地方，就来到以弗所，在那里遇见几个门徒，2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” 2问他们说：“你们信的时候受了圣灵没有？”他们回答说：“没有，也未曾听见有圣灵赐下来。”3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. 3保罗说：“这样，你们受的是什么洗呢？”他们说：“是约翰的洗。”4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 4保罗说：“约翰所行的是悔改的洗，告诉百姓，当信那在他以后要来的，就是耶稣。”5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 5他们听见这话，就奉主耶稣的名受洗。6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. 6保罗按手在他们头上，圣灵便降在他们身上，他们就说方言，又说预言（或作“又讲道”）。7 There were about twelve men in all. 7一共约有十二个人。8 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. 8保罗进会堂放胆讲道，一连三个月，辩论国的事，劝化众人。9 But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. 9后来，有些人心里刚硬不信，在众人面前毁谤这道。保罗就离开他们，也叫门徒与他们分离，便在推喇奴的学房天天辩论。10 This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord. 10这样有两年之久，叫一切住在亚细亚的，无论是犹太人，是希腊人，都听见主的道。11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 11神藉保罗的手行了些非常的奇事，12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them. 12甚至有人从保罗身上拿手巾或围裙放在病人身上，病就退了，恶鬼也出去了。13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 13那时，有几个游行各处、念咒赶鬼的犹太人，向那被恶鬼附的人擅自称主耶稣的名，说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣，敕令你们出来！”14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 14作这事的，有犹太祭司长士基瓦的七个儿子。15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 15恶鬼回答他们说：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道。你们却是谁呢？”16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. 16恶鬼所附的人就跳在他们身上，胜了其中二人，制伏他们，叫他们赤着身子受了伤，从那房子里逃出去了。17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. 17凡住在以弗所的，无论是犹太人、是希腊人，都知道这事，也都惧怕，主耶稣的名从此就尊大了。18 Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. 18那已经信的，多有人来承认诉说自己所行的事。19 A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. 19平素行邪术的，也有许多人把书拿来，堆积在众人面前焚烧。他们算计书价，便知道共合五万块钱。20 In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power. 20主的道大大兴旺，而且得胜，就是这样。

1, The need for baptism of the Holy Spirit. 需要圣灵的洗(v.1-7)

Now, Paul arrived in Ephesus, where is it? 保罗来到了以弗所。这地方在哪里呢？Today it’s a tourist site in southern Turkey. 今天它是土耳其南部的一个旅游景点。Back then, it was a massive city in the Roman Empire, with around 200,000 people, a busy trade hub connecting Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. 但在当时，这可是罗马帝国的大都市，约有20万人口，是连接亚、欧、中东的繁华贸易枢纽。It was a great location to share the gospel with the nations. 这是个向万民传福音的好地方，But the cityYet, it was full of spiritual activity, idols, magic scrolls, people chasing spiritual power from them, but there was no hope. 然而这里充斥着属灵活动：偶像林立、邪术书籍盛行，人们追逐从这些事物而来的灵力，却毫无盼望。Paul walked into that dark place, carrying the light of the gospel. 保罗带着福音的光，走进了这片黑暗之地。And what’s the first thing he did? In V,1–2, he found a group of twelve disciples and asked, 他最先做的是什么？在第1-2节中，他遇见十二个门徒，就问道：“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” “你们信的时候受了圣灵没有？”Now that’s not very Kiwi, is it? 这样打招呼可不是Kiwi风格，对吧？We’d probably say, “How’s the weather?” or “Would you like a coffee?” 我们多数会说‘今天天气怎样？’或者‘要喝杯咖啡吗？’But Paul went straight to the heart. That’s Kingdom culture. 但保罗直指核心，这就是神国文化。Why did He mention the Holy Spirit? 他为什么提到圣灵？And who is the Holy Spirit? 圣灵是谁？The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is God, personally present with us. 圣灵是三一真神的第三位格，祂是神，亲自与我们同在。Without the knew that without the Holy Spirit, we don’t have the power to live the Christian life, or to carry out God’s mission. 若没有圣灵，我们就没有能力活出基督徒的生命，也无法完成神托付的使命。Yes, repentance is essential. But without the help of the Holy SpiritRepentance is necessary, but on our own, we still can’t overcome struggle with fear, sin, and spiritual oppression, and are powerless over Satan. ,是，悔改固然必要，但若没有圣灵的帮助，我们仍然无法胜过惧怕、罪性和撒但。Only Jesus defeated the power of sin and Satan. 唯有耶稣胜过罪与撒但的权势。Even the apostles who followed Jesus, who saw miracles and heard His teaching, ran and hid when He was arrested. 就连那些跟随耶稣、亲眼见过神迹、亲耳听过祂教导的门徒，在他被捕时也都逃散躲藏。That’s why, after the resurrection, 正因如此，复活之后，耶稣说，Jesus said in Luke 路24:49, “I’m going to send you what my Father has promised. But stay in the city until you’ve been clothed with power from on high.” 我要将我父所应许的降在你们身上，你们要在城里等候，直到你们领受从上头来的能力。”He was talking about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 祂是在讲圣灵的洗。John the Baptist said the same thing施洗约翰也说过同样的话，在 in Matt 太3:11, “he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。 That means Jesus fills us with the Spirit’s power and presence, refines us on the inside, and empowers us for His mission. 这意味着耶稣要用圣灵的能力和同在充满我们，炼净我们的生命，并赐我们力量去完成祂的使命。You can preach within your persuasive words, but it’ll be powerless to demonstrate God’s power, to heal the sick, set people free, and do what Jesus did. 你讲道可以有说服力，但若没有神的大能，就无法医治病人，使受压制的得自由，行耶稣所行的神迹。This isn’t just knowledge, it’s something you need to experience. 这不仅是头脑知识，而是你必须亲身经历的。I remember when I’d only been a Christian for 30 days and God called me to plant a church and heal the sick. 记得我刚信主30天，神就呼召我建立教会并医治病人。I was terrified. I said, “Lord, I can’t, I don’t even know what the gospel is.” 我吓得直说："主啊，我不能！我连福音是什么都还不明白。"But when the Holy Spirit came on me, I became another person. We started selling stocks, funds, and properties to follow His call. And the home church was planted, disciples were made, people were healed, just like in the book of Acts. 但圣灵降临在我身上时，我彻底改变了，我们开始变卖股票、基金和房产回应呼召，家庭教会建立了，门徒被兴起，病人得医治，就像《使徒行传》的记载一样。So here is the thing, if we want to embrace God’s call, we need the same baptism of the Holy Spirit, His presence, His power, His fire in us. 所以关键在于：若愿回应神的呼召，我们必须领受同样的圣灵洗礼，让祂的同在、能力和圣火住在我们里面。Are you hungry for the baptism of the Holy Spirit? 你渴慕圣灵的洗吗？

2. Embracing God’s Call — Move with the Spirit, Not to React to People 甘心回应神的呼召—与圣灵同行，而不向人起反应 (v.8–12)

In v.19:13–20, we see a dramatic moment unfold. 19:13-20节中，我们看到一个戏剧性的场面：Seven sons of a Jewish chief priest, tried to cast out a demon using the name of Jesus, but they didn’t actually know Jesus. 一个犹太祭司长的七个儿子试图奉耶稣的名赶鬼，但他们并不真认识耶稣。The evil spirit responded, 那鬼回答说：“Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” “耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道。你们却是谁呢？” Then the possessed man jumped on them and overpowered them. They fled the house naked and bleeding. 接着，被鬼附的人扑向他们，制伏了他们，使他们赤着身流着血，逃跑了。What does this show us? 这向我们揭示了什么？Firstly, demons do recognise the name of Jesus, and they recognise those who truly walk with Him. You can’t fake Kingdom authority. 首先，鬼魔确实认得耶稣的名，也认得那些真正与祂同行的人，你无法伪造神国的权柄。In the Gospels, whenever Jesus showed up, demons cried out. 在福音书中，每当耶稣出现时，鬼魔都会喊叫。

In Luke路 4:34, one said, “I know who you are, the Holy One of God!” 我知道你是谁，乃是神的圣者。” In Mark 可3:11, they fell before Him, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” 污鬼……就俯伏在他面前，喊着说：“你是神的儿子！” They knew who He was. They trembled in His presence. 它们知道祂是谁，在祂面前战兢。Demons still know today who carries true authority. 直到今日，邪灵依然能认出谁拥有真实的权柄。At our home church, a woman tormented by demons for 18 years manifested during a worship. 在我们家庭教会，有位被鬼折磨了18年的姊妹，在一次敬拜中邪灵彰显出来。When a group of people was praying for her, the demon mocked a sister, “Even though you pray loudly, it doesn’t work.” 当众人为她祷告时，邪灵讥笑一位姊妹："就算你祷告得再大声也没用"；Then it mocked an elderly woman: “Get back, you old lady.” 又讥笑一位婆婆："老太婆，退后去"。When someone cried, “Lord! Lord!” the demon replied, “Not everyone who says ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom, but only those who do the will of God.” 当有人呼喊"主啊！主啊！"时，邪灵竟引用经文回应："凡称呼我'主啊，主啊'的人不能都进天国，惟独遵行我天父旨意的人才能进去。"That moment exposed everything. 那一刻，真相大白。Long story short, the demons were cast out and the sister was healed and changed! 长话短说，邪灵最终被赶出，那位姊妹得了医治，生命彻底改变！But the church learned a vital truth: 但教会也学到一个至关重要的真理：Jesus promised in Luke 路10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 我已经给你们权柄可以践踏蛇和蝎子，又胜过仇敌一切的能力，断没有什么能害你们。Jesus has given us the power to overcome Satan, why do some Christians still fear demons? 耶稣既已将胜过撒但的权柄赐给我们，为什么仍有信徒惧怕鬼魔？or doubt their existence? 为什么仍有信徒不信他们的存在？Or evenOr lack authority to overpower them? 为什么信徒没有制伏它们的权柄？  The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power 因为神的国不在乎言语，乃在乎权能。  (1 Cor 林前4:20). Spiritual power doesn’t come from shouting, age, or position, it comes from knowing Jesus, walking in His truth obediently, and being filled with the Spirit. 属灵权柄不在于喊叫声音有多大、不在乎年岁或地位，而在于真认识耶稣，顺服跟从祂的真理，并被圣灵充满。Last Tuesday, when I was talking with a sister about spiritual warfare, a brother walked in, and the lights suddenly flickered and shook. 上周二，我正与一位姊妹谈论属灵争战，一位弟兄走进来，灯光突然闪烁晃动。When I mentioned spiritual warfare to him, it happened again. 当我向他提及属灵争战时，同样的情况再次发生。I knew God was prompting me, so I took authority in Jesus’ name and rebuked the spirits. 我知道这是神在感动我，于是奉耶稣的名斥责那灵。Instantly, everything returned to normal. 一瞬间就恢复正常了。Jesus says, 耶稣说，But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 我若靠着神的灵赶鬼，这就是的国临到你们了。 (Matt 太12:28). So how do you know the Kingdom has come? 那么，怎样知道神的国度已经临到？When you do what God says and walk in His authority. 就是当你遵行神的话，活出祂所赐的权柄时；When you recognise the works of the evil one and they’re driven out of your life and family. 当你识破恶者的作为，把它们从你生命和家庭中赶出去时，You start to see healing in your marriage, your relationships, even your finances. 你就开始看见婚姻得医治、关系得恢复、财务蒙祝福，Your life begins to change, and God’s blessings become clear for all to seeevident.. 你的生命开始改变，人人都看到神给你的祝福。

Secondly, this story shows how evil spirits bring trauma, shame, fear, and destruction to people’s lives. 其次，这故事显明了邪灵如何给生命带来创伤、羞辱、惧怕和毁坏。The sons of Sceva were left beaten and exposed, that’s what the enemy does. 士基瓦的儿子们被打得赤着身子遍体鳞伤，这正是仇敌的作为。Jesus said,耶稣说： “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” 盗贼来，无非要偷窃、杀害、毁坏；我来了，是要叫羊（或作“人”）得生命，并且得的更丰盛。 (John 约10:10). The enemy lures you to  focus on yourself or your situation, to judge others and condemn yourself. 仇敌引诱你定睛于自己的处境，论断他人、定罪自己。He whispers lies to stir up arguments, break marriages, trap people in addiction, and fill them with guilt and pain. 它用谎言引起争吵、拆毁婚姻，使人上瘾，让人充满负罪感和痛苦，He steals peace, identity, and dignity. 他偷走平安、身份和尊严。But Jesus came to preach the good news, heal the sick, restore marriages and our true identity, and bring us back into His peace and eternal Kingdom. 但耶稣来传扬福音，医治病人，恢复婚姻，恢复我们真正身份，领我们归入祂的平安和永恒国度。Now here’s the question, who will you respond to? 现在的问题是，你要回应谁？In v.19, those who practised sorcery burned their scrolls, worth thousands. That was an act of repentance and surrender. 19节记载，平素行邪术的人焚烧价值不菲的书卷，这是悔改和降服的举动，Then came revival, v.20 says, 紧接着复兴就来到。20节说：the word of the Lord spread and grew in power. "主的道大大兴旺，而且得胜"。 I’ve seen this in 20 years of deliverance ministry, those who gave up the books or items connected to idol worship, ungodly fiction, or soul ties were blessed. 在二十年的医治释放事工中，我亲眼见证那些丢弃与偶像崇拜有关的书籍物品、不洁小说、不敬虔魂节的人，都蒙了祝福；But those who didn’t still stayed under attack, as the enemy kept a foothold, and the cycle of trouble continued in their families. 而那些不愿弃掉的人，仍持续遭受攻击，他们为仇敌留了地步，祸患就在家族中不断循环。So real freedom comes when we fully surrender. God’s way never changes!  真自由来自完全的降服。神的法则永不改变！Today, God is inviting you to move from “slumber faith” to “now faith”. 今天，神正呼召你从"沉睡的信"转向"当下的信"。Maybe it’s time to clean house, to lay down anything giving the enemy a foothold and say, “Jesus, I surrender. I embrace Your call. 或许是时候清理你的家，弃掉一切给仇敌留地步的东西，并说："耶稣，我降服于你，我愿甘心回应你的呼召。I’ll get rid of these things from my heart and from my house, because I believe Your way brings blessing to me and my family.” 我要从心里、从家里弃掉它们，因我信行你的道将带给我祝福，将带给我的家祝福。”The same Spirit that moved in Ephesus is moving now. 当年在以弗所运行的圣灵，今天正在运行；The same power that brought revival then is available today. 当年带来复兴的大能力，今天仍可以得着，But it starts with repentance. It starts with surrender. It starts with saying yes to Jesus, no matter the cost. 但这始于悔改，始于降服，始于付上全部代价对耶稣说"是"。He wants to baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire! 祂要用圣灵与火为你施洗！There are so many people still in darkness, just like the Ephesians. 当今世上，有太多人活在黑暗中，好像以弗所人，They’re searching, but they can’t find the truth. They’re worn out. Wounded. Their marriages are falling apart. 他们到处寻找真理，却找不到， 他们精疲力尽，伤痕累累，Their children are growing up without hope. 婚姻破碎，孩子在无望中成长，Their hearts are crying out for something real, but they don’t know where to turn. 他们的心渴慕真神，却不知去哪里寻找。

And we carry the answer. We carry Jesus. 而我们正带着这答案，耶稣就是答案。Would you be the one to bring His light into their darkness? 你愿意成为那个将祂的光带入黑暗的人吗？Would you let God break your heart for what breaks His? 你愿与祂的心一同伤痛让祂伤痛的事吗？Would you let Him set your heart on fire, for His mission, for His people, for the lost? 你愿让祂点燃你的心，为祂的使命、祂的子民、失丧的灵魂燃烧吗？

If you’re responding, “Here I am, Lord, set Your fire on my heart. I wanna embrace Your heart. I wanna embrace Your call. I need Your Spirit and fire to baptise me…” 若你心中回应："我在这里，主啊，求你烧着我的心！我愿回应你的心意，我愿回应你的呼召，我需要圣灵与火为我施洗……" Then, I invite you to come forward. Don’t hold back. This is between you and God. 我邀请你上前来。不要迟疑，这是你和神之间的事。And also, it’s about your family, your future, and the people He’s calling you to reach. Your response today could change more than just your life, it could ripple out to bless generations. 不仅如此，它关乎你的家庭、你的未来，关乎神召你去接触的人，今天你的回应，改变的不只是你的生命，更会扩散开去，祝福一代又一代的人。

We’ll sing together, and afterwards, we’ll take time to pray. 我们将一同唱诗，之后我们一起祷告。Come with an open heart, ready to surrender, ready to receive, ready to say yes to His call. 敞开你的心，来降服，来领受，来对祂的呼召说："我愿意"。

Prayer: 祷告：

“Yes, Lord, holy is Your name! 是的，主啊，你的名为圣！You are holy forever. 你永远圣洁。Thank You, Jesus, the Holy One, who came into our broken world for our freedom and redemption. 感谢你，圣者耶稣，你为让我们得自由、得救赎，进入这破碎的世界。You suffered and died on the cross, yet You rose again. 你曾受苦，为我们钉死在十字架上，却又复活了。You bring the hope of eternity to this fading world. 你把永恒盼望带给这渐渐朽坏的世界。We praise You! 我们赞美你！

Thank You for loving us and calling us to embrace Your call. 感谢你爱我们，呼唤我们回应你的呼召。We know we can’t do it in our own strength. Like the disciples, we often get entangled in worries about tomorrow. But You promised, if we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, all the things we need for this life will be given to us. 我们知道靠自己做不到。我们就像门徒，总为明天担忧。但你应许，先求你的国你的义，生活所需的一切你都会给我们。You also promised to baptise us with the Holy Spirit and fire, 你也应许要用圣灵与火给我们施洗，to empower us to walk in Kingdom authority, 使我们得着能力，活出神国度的权柄，to preach the good news, cast out demons, and heal the sick, 传讲福音，赶出污鬼，医治病人，Not just, so we can experience Your reality, but so the that people around us canmay see the evidence that of the coming of the Kingdom has. Holy Spirit, come. 这不只是为了让我们能经历你的真实，更是为了让周围的人看见天国降临的明证。Fill every person in this room who’s hungry for more. Expose every idol, every scroll we’re clinging to.”

So Father, we say “yes”, we embrace Your call. Holy Spirit, come. Fill us, we’re hungry for more of You. Expose every idol, every old scroll we’re still clinging to. 天父，我们回应说"是的"，我们接受你的呼召。圣灵啊，来吧！充满我们，我们渴慕更多有你。揭露我们仍紧抓不放的一切偶像，一切陈旧的规条。

Now, if you’d like, you can repeat my prayer: 现在，如果你愿意，可以跟着我祷告：

“Lord, there may be areas of my hearts still entangled, like hidden scrolls I haven’t surrendered. 主啊，我心里或许仍有被捆住的地方，就像隐藏的法术书卷，我还没有交出来。Maybe it’s doubts, unbelief, compromise, old habits, hidden sin, or unforgiveness… 也许有疑惑、不信、妥协、旧习惯、隐藏的罪，或不饶恕……Or maybe there are actual things in my homes, books, items tied to the past that I need to let go of. 又或者，我家中真的有一些东西、书籍或与过去连结的物品，需要弃掉。Reveal them to me. Bring them to the surface so that I can deal with them… 请你向我显明，带到光中 ，好让我可以处理…… Lord, forgive me for my ignorance, 主啊，求你赦免我的无知，all that old stuff can’t bring me freedom or blessings, only spiritual attacks. 那些旧东西不能带给我自由和祝福，只会引来属灵攻击。I surrender. I lay it all down. I break my agreement with them. 我愿意降服，完全放下，奉主名断开与它们的联结，I rebuke the evil ones to leave. 斥责邪灵离开，Baptise me with Your Spirit and with fire. 求你用圣灵与火给我施洗。Burn away everything that’s not from You. 将一切不是出于你的都焚烧殆尽。Cleanse my heart. Fill me afresh. 洁净我的心，重新充满我。Empower me to walk in Your truth, carry Your light, and live for Your mission…” 赐我能力来行真理，带着你的光，活出你给我的使命……”

Now you can pray on your own, I may come to pray over you… 现在你可以自己祷告，我可能会为你按手……

Now, let’s finish by saying the Renew Together prayer from Arotahi: 现在，让我们以Arotahi（新西兰浸信会宣教联会）的"共同更新"祷告来结束：

Grant us O God, Your heart for the world. In all of its expansiveness. And in all of its radical, transformative love. 神啊，求你赐给我们你那为世界跳动的心——那广阔无边的胸怀，那彻底改变生命的爱。Your heart transforms us from the inside out. As the knowledge of who you are takes root within us, May it shape us. 求你从里到外更新我们，当认识你至圣者的真理在我们里面扎根，愿这真理塑造我们。

As we share and listen. And we lead and follow. And in all that we do. 不论我们在分享或倾听，带领或跟随，在一切所行的事上，Stir within us a deep desire to follow you above all.求在我们心中点燃单单跟随你的深切渴慕。May we not shrink from trials and hardship. 让我们不因试炼与患难退缩，But live deep into the knowledge and ways of your humility, mercy and justice. 而是活出你的谦卑、怜悯、公义。
