1, Jesus’ example of the purpose of his early life. 早年耶稣的生命目标

Have you ever asked those big questions: 你是否也曾追问那些终极问题：“Why am I here? “我为何存在？What’s the purpose of my life? 我生命的目的是什么？Where am I heading?” 我将去往何方？”Have you ever chased money, success, or romantic love, 你是否曾追逐金钱、成功、浪漫爱情，yet still felt empty? 但内心仍然感空虚？I have. 我有过这样的经历。I only discovered who I am and my life’s purpose when I met Jesus. 直到遇见耶稣，我才真正明白自己是谁，并找到了生命的意义。When we look at Jesus, 当我们注目耶稣，one thing is clear: 可清楚看到一件事：He knew His purpose from the beginning. 就是祂从一开始就深知自己的使命。In Luke 路2:49, at just 12 years old, He told his earthly parents, 年仅十二岁的耶稣就对地上的父母说：“Didn’t you know I must be about my Father’s business?” “岂不知我应当以我父的事为念吗？” Imagine your 12-year-old saying that! 试想你家12岁的孩子说出这样的话！Even as a Youth, 即便年少，Jesus knew what He was here for. 耶稣已清楚知晓自己降世的使命。Throughout His ministry, 在祂整个事奉生涯中，He kept returning to this focus: 始终持守这个核心呼召： John 约5:36, “For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I’m doing, testifies that the Father has sent me.” “父交给我要我成就的事，就是我所作的事，这便见证我是父所差来的。”John 约6:38, “I’ve come down from heaven not to do my will, but to do the will of Him who sent me.” “因为我从天上降下来，不是要按自己的意思行，乃是要按那差我来者的意思行。”John 约4:34, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work.” “我的食物就是遵行差我来者的旨意，作成他的工。”Why did He keep saying, “He sent me”? 为什么祂不断说“父差了我”？First, to declare His unchanging identity. 首先，是为宣告祂不变的身份。People labelled Him a prophet, 人们给祂贴上先知、a blasphemer, 亵渎神的、even a demon-possessed, 甚至被鬼附的标签，but He knew who He was: 但祂清楚自己是谁：the Son of God, sent by the Father. 是父所差来的独生子。Second, to stay focused on His mission despite pressure. 其次，为在承压时专注使命。He faced rejection, 祂被拒绝、temptation, 被试探、and distraction, 被人搅扰，yet anchored Himself in God’s will: 却始终定睛神的旨意：to save the world. 拯救世人。Jesus didn’t just start His mission, 耶稣不仅起头有使命，He modelled how to finish it. 更示范给我们如何完成它。In a world full of distractions and worldly definitions of success, 在这充满干扰和世俗成功定义的世界，He shows us: 祂向我们显明：Know who sent you, 真知道谁差遣你，know why you’re here, 真知道你为何在此，and finish the work God gave you. 以及完成神托付你的工。Actually, this is what I always return to. 事实上这正是我常转向的真理。If you practise this, 你若操练它，you won’t be distracted or discouraged by how people label you, 就不会因人的评价分心或沮丧，but will rejoice in God’s purpose for your life. 反要为神给你的生命目标而欢喜。

2, Continuing Jesus’ mission means doing what He did. 行耶稣所行的，就是延续耶稣的使命

Before going to the cross Jesus prayed in 在上十字架前，耶稣祷告说：John 约17:4, “I’ve brought You glory by finishing the work You gave me to do.” 我在地上已经荣耀你，你所托付我的事，我已成全了。 He didn’t do his own work, 他做的不是自己的事，but the Father’s.而是父所托付的事。Now He calls us to do the same 今天祂也呼召我们做同样的事，in John约 20:21, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” “父怎样差遣了我，我也照样差遣你们。” The church is called to continue to do what Jesus did. 教会蒙召要继续做耶稣所做的事。So what did Jesus do on earth? 那么耶稣在地上做了什么呢？ Let’s look at 让我们看Luke 路4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, “主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我报告：被掳的得释放，瞎眼的得看见，叫那受压制的得自由，19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” 19报告神悦纳人的禧年。”Matt 太4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教训人，传天国的福音，医治百姓各样的病症。Matthew 太9:35: Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 耶稣走遍各城各乡，在会堂里教训人，宣讲天国的福音，又医治各样的病症。Jesus didn’t just talk about what He would do 耶稣不仅宣告了祂要做的事in Luke 路4:18-19, He did what He said. 更实际成就了这些事。From these verses, 从这些经文中，we see at least four key things Jesus did, 我们至少看到耶稣所做的四件关键事，and that we are also called to continue: 也是我们蒙召要延续的使命：A. Proclaiming the good news. A.传福音。B. Teaching the truth, B.教导真理、praying and living in intimacy with the Father, 祷告并与父神亲密同行、and making disciples. 培训门徒；C. Healing and setting the oppressed free, C.医治释放受压制的人，through intimacy with the Father, 藉着与父神的亲密关系，the power of God flowed from Him to heal the sick, 神的大能透过祂医治病人、bind up the broken-hearted, 缠裹伤心的人，and bring deliverance and restoration to those bound by sin, fear, or demonic power. 使被罪、惧怕或邪灵捆绑的人得自由与恢复；D. Proclaiming Jubilee, D.宣告禧年：bringing forgiveness, freedom, justice, 带来饶恕、自由、公义，and rebuilding community in God’s kingdom. 并在神国度中重建群体。In the OT, 在旧约中，Jubilee (Leviticus 利25) ensured no one was cut off from their land or community. 禧年时没有人会与土地或群体隔绝，Every 50th year, debts were cancelled, 每逢第50年，人的债务被免除、slaves freed, 奴隶获自由、and property returned, 产业被归还，restoring relationships and trust. 关系与信任被恢复。In the same way, Jesus fulfils and extends the Jubilee: 同样，耶稣一直在成就并扩展禧年的景况：reconciling us to God and people, 祂使我们与神和好、与人和好，and inviting all into a restored relationship 使人得享关系被医治重建的祝福，where His kingdom brings life, healing, peace, and hope for eternity. 得享神国度的永恒生命、医治、平安和盼望。Continuing Jesus’ mission means to do the same as He did: 延续耶稣使命意味着行耶稣所行的：proclaiming the good news, 乃是传讲福音，demonstrating God’s love and power, 彰显神的爱和大能，and bringing freedom, healing, and restoration to a broken world. 

3. Preaching is more than a pulpit. 传道不只在讲台

Today, let’s pause on the first word in Jesus’ mission: “preach”. 今天，让我们聚焦耶稣使命的第一个词：“传道”。What comes to mind when you hear it? 听到这个词，你想到什么？We often think of someone behind a pulpit in a church. 我们常想到站在教堂讲台后的人。But in the early church, there were no church buildings for 300 years, 但在头300年，教会没有教堂建筑，people met in homes. 信徒们都在家中聚会；Yet, the church exploded. 然而教会却爆炸性增长，They only had the Holy Spirit, the Good News, and a willingness to follow Jesus anywhere. 他们只有圣灵、福音，以及愿意跟随耶稣到任何地方的心志。I love what a preacher at the Congress said: 有位讲员在这次联会上说得好：“Preaching is simply sharing the gospel, “传道就是随时随地分享福音、telling the truth about who Jesus is, wherever you are. 讲述耶稣是谁的真理。At work, 在工作中、over coffee, 喝咖啡时、on a walk, 散步时、or online, 网络上，you are His witness.” 你都是祂的见证人。”That’s what the early church did. 这正是早期教会所做的，Ordinary believers opened their mouths in everyday life, 平信徒在日常生活中开口讲述耶稣，and the Holy Spirit worked through them to bring people into God’s Kingdom of light. 圣灵就藉他们带人进入神光明的国度。That same Holy Spirit is with us today. 今天，同一位圣灵仍与我们同在。Just now, Don, a spiritual newborn, shared how Jesus brought him love and reconciliation. 刚才，新信主的Don就分享了耶稣如何使他的家和好有爱。That’s what Jesus does! 这就是耶稣所做的！And we’re called to be witnesses of His reality.  我们也蒙召见证耶稣的真实。 So what about you? 那么你呢？Have you been reconciled to God through Jesus? 你藉着耶稣与神和好了吗？Have you experienced His love and healing? 你经历过祂的爱和医治吗？Are you sharing His good news with those around you? 你正在向周围的人传讲这好消息吗？Jesus promised in耶稣应许：Acts 徒1:8, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses…” “但圣灵降临在你们身上，你们就必得着能力；并要在耶路撒冷、犹太全地和撒玛利亚，直到地极，作我的见证。” If the apostles needed power from on high, 若连使徒都需要从上头来的能力，how much more do we need it today? 我们岂不更需要？Let’s respond as we sing our last song, and say: 我们来唱最后一首歌，并回应主说：“Lord, I wanna speak Your name to others. “主啊，我愿向人传扬你的名，Fill me with Your Spirit. 求你用圣灵充满我，Make me Your witness.” 使我成为你的见证。”

Prayer: 祷告：

Yes, Lord, 主啊，是的，Your name is healing, 祢名是医治， Your name is power, 祢名是能力，Your name is life! 祢名是生命！Thank You for defeating the work of the enemy through the Cross. 感谢祢在十字架上除灭了仇敌的作为，Thank You for Your unfailing love for each of us. 感谢祢用不止息的爱爱我们每个人。We lift up Your name, 我们高举祢的名，the name above all names, 超乎万名之上的名，Jesus, the King of kings, 耶稣，万王之王，over our hearts, 在我们的心里举起你、over our minds, 在每个意念里举起你、 over every home, 在每个家庭举起你、every place of hurt and need. 在每个伤害和有需要的地方举起你。Yes Lord, 是的主啊，we’ve sung the song and we believe it. 我们所唱的，我们全然相信。

We speak Your name over fear, 我们宣告祢的名，抵挡一切惧怕， but we confess…但我们也认自己的罪……Now, you can make this prayer personal if you like, and say, 现在，你若愿意自己向主祷告，你可以说：

“Lord, there have been times when I was overwhelmed by fear, anger, or other negative emotions. “主啊，有些时候，我被惧怕、愤怒或其他负面情绪压倒，Times when I ended up sick in body or trapped again in old habits. 有时我因此生了病，或又被旧习惯捆绑。Why? 为什么会这样？Because I failed to listen to You and to carry out Your commands. 因我没有听从祢，也没有遵行祢的命令。In some areas of my heart, 我内心里有些地方， I allowed self-centred desires to rule, 我容让自我中心掌了权，listened to the voices of the world, 我听从了世界的声音， and gave the enemy power to defeat me, 使得仇敌可以胜过我，that’s why I was afraid…or angry… or ruled by negative feelings. 以致于我被忧虑、恼怒、负面情绪压制了。

Today, I return to You and to Your commands. 今天，我回转向祢，回转向祢的命令。Jesus, I belong to You. 耶稣，我属于祢，I respond to Your call. 我愿回应祢的呼召。Yes, Lord, just as You were sent by the Father, 是的主啊，正如祢被父差遣，You are sending us. 祢也差遣我们。Fill me with the same Spirit 求祢也用圣灵充满我， that empowered You to proclaim good news, 使我有属天的能力，传讲福音、 heal the sick, 医治病人、 set the oppressed free, 使被压制的得自由，and announce the year of the Lord’s favour. 宣告主悦纳人的禧年。

I renounce every agreement I have made with the enemy through disobedience or unbelief. 我弃绝一切因不顺服和不信与仇敌所立的约。Today, I stand in Your truth and respond to Your command. 今天，我在真理里回应祢的命令。Your name is power over every addiction, 祢的名胜过一切上瘾的捆绑、 every fear, 一切惧怕的捆绑、 every chain, 一切的锁链、every lie. 一切的谎言。Your name brings healing to my body, 祢的名使我身体得医治， freedom to my soul, 使我魂得自由，and life to my spirit. 使我灵得着新生命。Fill me with Your Spirit. 求圣灵充满我，Make me Your witness…” 使我为你作见证……” You can pray on your own… 你也可以用自己的话祷告……

Yes, Father, 是的，天父， just as You sent Your Son Christ, 正如祢差了祢的儿子基督，You are sending us. 祢也在差遣我们。Remind us 求祢提醒我们， that preaching is more than a pulpit, 讲道不仅在讲台上， it is speaking Jesus wherever we are: 宣扬耶稣可在任何地方： in our homes, 在家中、 at work, 在单位中、 over coffee, 在喝咖啡时、 in the streets, 在街道上， or wherever. 在任何地方。Pour out Your Spirit afresh from on high. 求你从天浇灌祢的圣灵，Make us bold and powerful witnesses like the early church saints, 使我们像初代教会圣徒那样，大有能力作主见证， who spoke Your name in their everyday lives 在日常生活中传讲你的名， and saw the Holy Spirit draw people into Your Kingdom. 见证圣灵吸引人进入神的国。Let our church be a living testimony of Your name: 让我们的教会成为祢鲜活的见证： a community of grace, 成为充满恩典、 love, 爱、 prayer, 凡事祷告、 healing, 蒙医治、and restoration, 被复兴的群体，where Jubilee life is seen: 使人经历禧年的景况： debts forgiven, 就是债务被免除、 relationships restored, 关系得修复、 the broken made whole, 破碎得完全、 and the lonely brought into family. 孤单者有家。And Your name be exalted. Amen. 愿你的名被高举。阿们。
