【林前12:12】就如身子是一个，却有许多肢体；而且肢体虽多，仍是一个身子。基督也是这样。【1Cor12:12】Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.

看看我们自己的身体，有：手、脚、眼、耳、心…每一个器官尽管各不相同，却各有独特的功用，不可替代，这许多的肢体归属于同一个身体。Look at our own bodies—there are hands, feet, eyes, ears, and a heart. Each part is different, yet each has its own unique and irreplaceable function. All these many members belong to one body.基督也是这样！保罗用我们最熟悉的身体来比喻我们与基督，与肢体之间的关系：我们都是基督身上的肢体，同属于基督。So it is with Christ! Paul used the body—something we are all familiar with—as a metaphor to explain our relationship with Christ and with one another: we are all members of Christ’s body, and we all belong to Him.

基督是教会的头，教会是基督的身体。凡信基督的人，无论有多少人，无论多么的不同，都是基督身上的肢体。Christ is the head of the Church, and the Church is His body. All who believe in Christ—no matter how many, and no matter how different—are members of His body.不同肤色、不同民族、不同语言、不同恩赐、不同功用、不同呼召的许多人，因着同有一位父，同有一位主，同有一个圣灵，我们在耶稣基督里被联络成为一个身体。People of different skin colours, different nations, different languages, different gifts, different functions, and different callings are all joined together as one body in Jesus Christ, because we share one Father, one Lord, and one Spirit.

主耶稣上十字架前，特意为着门徒的合一向天父祈求。每一个肢体很重要，却不是全部。神造我们，拯救我们，Before going to the cross, the Lord Jesus specifically prayed to the Father for the unity of His disciples.Eachmember of the body is important, but none is the whole. God created us and saved us—not so that we would each go our own way or exalt ourselves, 不是让我们各自为政、高举自己，而是各尽其职，彼此相肋，搭配服侍，长成基督的身量，成全基督的心意，使万国万民在基督里同归于一。这是何等美好的画面！ but so that we would each do our part, support one another, serve together in harmony,grow into the fullness of Christ, and fulfil the heart of Christ—that all nations and peoples might be brought into unity in Him.What a beautiful picture that is!

主啊，求你赦免我们的自相纷争，求圣灵拆毁我们之间因争大、嫉妒、论断…所筑起的墙，使我们尽上自己的忠心，为得荣耀的肢体欢呼，为软弱的肢体怜悯代求…Lord, please forgive us for our divisions and strife. Holy Spirit, tear down the walls we’ve built between one another—walls of pride, jealousy, judgement, and the desire to be greater. Help us to be faithful in our part, to rejoice with the honoured members, and to show mercy and intercede for the weaker ones. 求主赐我们国度的胸怀，使我们以耶稣的心为心，操练谦卑、忍耐、爱人，与基督合一，与万国万民在基督里的合一，成就天父的旨意。Lord, give us the heart of Your Kingdom. Let us take on the mind of Christ—practising humility, patience, and love. May we be united with Christ, and in Christ be one with people from every nation and tribe, so that the will of the Father may be fulfilled.
