【弗1:18】并且照明你们心中的眼睛，使你们知道他的恩召有何等指望，他在圣徒中得的基业有何等丰盛的荣耀；【Eph1: 18】I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

自从吃了知识善恶果,人类心中的眼睛就瞎了，失去了神的智慧和启示…Since eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, the eyes of our hearts have been blind, losing God’s wisdom and revelation…从此世世代代只能在黑暗里摸索…凭着眼睛、耳朵判断是非、对错…陷入被仇敌欺骗、迷惑，成了瞎子、乞丐，何等悲惨的罪的奴仆…From then on, people through the generations could only grope about in darkness, judging by what they see and hear, deceived and tricked by the enemy, blind beggars, pitiful slaves of sin.

保罗在大马士革的路上遇见耶稣，被大光光照，他眼睛好像瞎了…后来耶稣施恩，差一弟兄为他按手，他眼睛上的鳞片脱落，恢复视力…On the road to Damascus, Paul met Jesus, and a great light shone on him — it was as if he went blind… Later Jesus showed grace and sent a brother to lay hands on him. The scales fell from his eyes, and his sight returned.预表他领受圣灵，重生得救…父将智慧和启示的灵赐给他,他心中的眼睛被打开,从此保罗踏上了恩典的道路…成了领受耶稣智慧和启示最多的使徒…This pictured his receiving the Spirit, being born again and saved. The Father gave him the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, opening the eyes of his heart. From that moment Paul walked the road of grace, becoming the apostle who received the most wisdom and revelation from Jesus.

父啊，求你也将赐给保罗那智慧和启示的灵赏给我们，使我们真知道，你差遣你独生爱子来到地上，为世人钉十字架，赦免我们的罪。我们不禁会想，你用基督宝贵的生命付上这么大的代价，成就的救赎恩典，召我们进入你的国度，Father, please also give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation You gave Paul, so we truly know that You sent Your only Son to the earth, to be nailed to the cross for the world’s sins, forgiving us. We can’t help asking: You paid such a high price — Christ’s precious life — to redeem us and call us into Your kingdom…到底要给我们带来何等的盼望呢？难道我们每一天去教会聚会，赞美敬拜、读经祷告，有房子住，有工作、有饭吃、过上喜乐平安的日子，就是你救赎我们的目的？what hope are You giving us? Is it just that we turn up at church, worship and pray, read the Bible, have a house, a job, food, and live happily and peacefully — is that really the purpose of Your redemption?

父啊，我感谢你，若不是你智慧和启示，保罗也认为他在律法的义上无可指摘，是好人、义人，他所做的一切都是爱主。但耶稣却说他在逼迫耶稣，与神为仇…Father, thank You. Without Your wisdom and revelation, Paul too thought he was blameless in the law, a good and righteous man, doing everything for the Lord. But Jesus said he was persecuting Him and standing against God.如果不是你智慧和启示，我永远不能知道我肉体里没有良善(罗7：18)，我的旧人是卖给罪的(7：14)，充满了罪性和诡诈，坏到极处，是我和任何人不能识透的(耶17：9)。Without Your wisdom and revelation, I’d never know that in my flesh there’s no good (Romans 7:18), that my old self is sold under sin (7:14), filled with sin and deceit, corrupt beyond measure, impossible to understand (Jeremiah 17:9).我总觉得我还可以，我还能做一些好事，我比有些人总好得多吧？我不会杀人放火、抢劫强奸吧…I often think I’m fine, that I can do some good, that I’m better than others. I haven’t killed, robbed, or done terrible crimes.

若没有你智慧和启示，我们永远不知道你爱子耶稣基督的十字架是何等宝贵，耶稣为什么要钉十字架？保罗说，他不知道别的，只知道耶稣基督并祂钉十字架(林前2：2)。But without Your wisdom and revelation, we’d never grasp how precious the cross of Your Son is, or why Jesus had to be crucified. Paul said he knew nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2).原来全人类的罪性都一样，我没有杀人放火，烧杀抢掠，不是我比强盗妓女良善，而是我没有在活在他们的背景环境里，只要外在条件跟他们一样，我一定所作所为跟他们一样。The truth is, all of us share the same sinful nature. That I haven’t done gross crimes doesn’t make me more righteous than robbers or prostitutes — it just means I haven’t lived in their background. Put me in their shoes, and I’d act the same.耶稣责备我，我也会跟犹太人一样恨耶稣，钉耶稣上十字架。保罗在领受了你智慧和启示后，就说出真理：他是罪人里的罪魁…难道我们会比保罗好吗？断乎不会…When Jesus rebukes me, I’d be like the Jews — hating Him, crucifying Him. After receiving Your wisdom and revelation, Paul said the truth: he was the worst of sinners. Are we any better than Paul? Not at all.

彼得也领受了智慧和启示:‘神的神能已将一切关乎生命和虔敬的事赐给我们，皆因我们认识那用自己荣耀和美德召我们的主。因此，祂已将又宝贵、又极大的应许赐给我们，叫我们既脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，就得与神的性情有份。(彼后 1:3-4) Peter too received wisdom and revelation: “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through knowing Him who called us by His glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them we may take part in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” (2 Peter 1:3–4).原来神赐我们恩召的指望是：使我们每一天坚定不移的、殷勤祷告、争战、在神恩召上坚定不移，叫我们实实在在脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，得与神的性情有份。就是越来越像基督，充满了神儿子的智慧，权能和荣耀…不再是我，乃是耶稣基督在我里面活…God’s calling gives us this hope: to stand firm daily, to pray diligently, to fight, to hold fast, truly escaping the corruption of worldly desires, and sharing in God’s nature — becoming more like Christ, filled with the wisdom, power, and glory of the Son of God. No longer I, but Christ living in me.神要叫那充满万有的充满我，也充满祂的教会，要训练出许多象基督的儿子，成为父荣耀的基业…以前是被仇敌掳去，作罪奴役的瞎子乞丐，现在却要成为基督的身体，跟基督一起践踏仇敌，让仇敌作基督身体的脚蹬，成为让仇敌闻风丧胆的，威武如展开旌旗的耶和华军队…父啊，求你也赐我智慧和启示，照亮我心中的眼睛，像保罗一样，真知道这指望，这基业，这荣耀…让我奋力追求。God will fill me, and fill His church, with Him who fills everything in every way, raising up many sons like Christ as the Father’s glorious inheritance. Once captives of the enemy, blind beggars enslaved to sin, now becoming Christ’s body, trampling the enemy with Him, making the enemy His footstool, rising as the LORD’s army — bold, mighty, and feared like a banner raised. Father, please give me the same wisdom and revelation, open the eyes of my heart, so that like Paul I may truly know this hope, this inheritance, this glory — and press on after it.
