【西3:14】在这一切之外，要存着爱心，爱心就是联络全德的。【Col3:14】And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

“在这一切之外，要存着爱心”，意味着“爱心”是“怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔、忍耐”等所有属灵美德的“中心纽带”。“Above all, put on love” means that love is the central thread holding together every spiritual virtue—compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience.如果没有爱，这些美德都带着虚假，不能持续，也不能使人受益。Without love, all these virtues become hollow, cannot last, and cannot truly help anyone.正如保罗说，我若能说万人的方言，有各种的恩赐，将所有的周济穷人，甚至舍己身叫人焚烧，若没有爱，就什么都不是。没有爱心的，仍在死中。As Paul said, even if I can speak in all kinds of tongues, have every spiritual gift, give everything to the poor, and even offer my body to be burned—if I don’t have love, I am nothing. Whoever lacks love is still living in death.爱心如同身体中的血液，使我们成为活的生命体。Love is like the bloodstream of the body—it’s what makes us truly alive.

面对配偶、孩子，面对教会的弟兄姐妹，面对不信的人，我似乎做了一切，对人说话也很温柔、对缺乏的人也提供食宿，似乎也很怜悯恩慈，别人一称赞我，我赶紧说，还差的很远，似乎很谦卑…With my spouse, with my children, with the brothers and sisters in church, with unbelievers—I may seem to be doing everything right. I speak gently, I help those in need with food or shelter, I look compassionate and kind, and when someone praises me, I quickly say, “I’ve still got a long way to go,” which sounds humble…所做的一切，是凭着爱心行事吗？我们基督徒和佛教徒任何宗教徒有什么区别？ But am I really acting out of love? What difference is there between a Christian and a Buddhist or any other religious person?

主感谢你，如何检验我所有的美德是出于基督的爱心呢？当我做完一切在人身上，那人还侮辱我、诋毁我、捏造各样的坏话到处撒布毁坏我名声，我心里是如何反应的？Lord, thank You for showing me how to test whether my virtues flow from Christ’s love. When I’ve done everything I can for someone, and they still insult me, slander me, spread false stories about me and try to ruin my name—how does my heart respond?我的心充满苦毒、委屈、自义、骄傲，甚至再也不想付出了？还是思想耶稣？Am I full of bitterness, hurt, self-righteousness, pride, or unwillingness to keep giving? Or do I think of Jesus?当基督在地上行了无数医病、赶鬼、救人的善事，人不但不感恩、还骂祂、打祂、侮辱祂、恨祂、把祂钉上十字架…Christ did countless good works—healing, delivering, saving—and instead of gratitude, people mocked Him, beat Him, insulted Him, hated Him, and nailed Him to the cross.在我不信不认祂的时候，就为我而死；纵然我信主之后仍屡次跌倒，仍不收回祂的爱，用恩慈领我悔改。When I didn’t believe Him or acknowledge Him, He still died for me. And even after I believed, though I keep stumbling, He never withdraws His love but leads me to repentance with kindness.

主啊，是你先爱了我，为我这样的人舍命，为我做榜样，使我知道何为基督的爱，那就是爱仇敌，爱恨祂的人。Lord, You loved me first. You laid down Your life for someone like me. You showed me what Christ’s love really is—love that loves enemies and loves those who hate Him.我也当为弟兄、为众人舍命，效法你，用你的爱去爱恨我的人。I too should lay down my life for my brothers and for others, following Your example, loving even those who oppose me with Your love.

主啊，我要在你面前行活人之道，奉主耶稣的名破除一切宗教、一切的自义、自己打造自己的、虚荣，自我满足、想得人的称赞的、自私、假冒伪善的坚固营垒。Lord, I want to walk before You as someone who is truly alive. In Jesus’ name, I break every stronghold of religion, self-righteousness, self-made identity, vanity, seeking human praise, selfishness, and hypocrisy.基督爱仇敌的爱是试金石，惟有基督的爱可以使我们出死入生。Christ’s enemy-loving love is the true test—only Christ’s love brings us from death into life.

主啊，帮助我做一切事不是为了打造自己，讨人的称赞，而是连与你这爱的源头，并让你的爱联络你一切的美德，Lord, help me not to do anything for self-glory or to earn praise, but to stay connected to You—the source of love—and let Your love bind together every virtue in me.借着我舍己、顺服至死而流淌出来，见证你的爱是真爱，是在烈火试炼里都不改变的真爱，永不止息！Let Your love flow out as I deny myself and obey You, even when it costs me. Let my life show that Your love is true, unchanging even under fiery trials, a love that never fails.
