【帖前5:8】但我们既然属乎白昼，就应当谨守，把信和爱当作护心镜遮胸，把得救的盼望当作头盔戴上。【1 Thess5:8】But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

从前我们属于黑暗，是可怒之子；但因着耶稣基督的救赎，如今成了蒙爱的儿女、光明之子。Once we belonged to darkness and were children of wrath; but through the redemption of Jesus Christ, we have become dearly loved children—children of light.既然身份已经改变，生命就不能再松散随意。保罗提醒我们要谨守，因为基督徒的生活从来不是安逸的，而是一场真实的属灵争战。Since our identity has changed, we can no longer live carelessly or casually. Paul reminds us to stay alert and self-controlled, because the Christian life is never about comfort—it’s a real spiritual battle.

护心镜和头盔是军装中最关键的装备。The breastplate and the helmet are the most vital parts of the armour.护心镜保护我们的心，使我们不被控告、冷淡或自义击中；头盔保护我们的思想，使我们清楚知道：我们已经得救，我们的身份是神的儿女。The breastplate guards our hearts, protecting us from accusation, spiritual coldness, and self-righteousness; the helmet guards our minds, helping us know with certainty that we are saved and that our true identity is as God’s children.仇敌最主要的攻击，就是要占据我们的思想阵地，使我们怀疑救恩、动摇身份、失去盼望。The enemy’s main strategy is to occupy our thought life—making us doubt our salvation, question who we are, and lose hope.

因此，无论在争战中经历怎样的失败或软弱，我们都不至于灰心，更不至于失去救恩的盼望。我们不是为得到救恩而争战，乃是从基督已经得胜的根基上争战，使基督的得胜成为我们的得胜。That’s why, even when we experience failure or weakness in the battle, we don’t lose heart or lose the hope of salvation. We’re not fighting to gain salvation; we’re fighting from the solid ground of Christ’s finished victory, allowing His victory to become our own.正如经上所说：“我们若将起初确实的信心坚持到底，就在基督里有份了。”（来 3:14）As Scripture says, “If we hold firmly to our original confidence to the end, we share in Christ” (Hebrews 3:14).

保罗一生正是活在这样的确信中：基督已经复活，也必再来；我们既是神的儿女，也必与祂一同得荣耀。Paul lived with this deep assurance all his life: Christ has risen and will return; and since we are God’s children, we will also share in His glory.正因如此，他才能说自己天天冒死，在艰难与逼迫中仍然舍命服事。只有信心，却没有盼望的忍耐，容易变成一时的热情；只有盼望，却没有爱，又容易沦为苦熬，失去喜乐。That’s why he could say he faced death daily and still poured out his life in service through hardship and persecution. Faith without hope-filled endurance can easily fade into short-lived enthusiasm; hope without love can turn into grim endurance and lose its joy.唯有信与爱一同护住内心，得救的盼望才能在争战中成为真正坚固的头盔。Only when faith and love together guard the heart does the hope of salvation become a truly solid helmet in the midst of battle.

主耶稣，感谢你使我属乎白昼，成为你的儿女。求你用信与爱保守我的心，用得救的盼望保护我的思想。Lord Jesus, thank You for making me belong to the day and for calling me Your child. Please guard my heart with faith and love, and protect my mind with the hope of salvation.当我软弱时，不让我被控告吞噬；当我争战时，使我站在你已经得胜的根基上。When I am weak, don’t let accusation overwhelm me; when I’m in battle, help me stand firmly on the ground of Your finished victory.

主啊，不论你何时再来，我必站在你面前。今天的选择，决定我将来在你面前得什么。Lord, whenever You return, I will stand before You. The choices I make today shape what I will receive before You then.求你提醒我要穿戴属灵军装，将起初确实的信心坚持到底，警醒、谨守，打那美好的仗，使我在耶稣基督显现的时候，得着称赞、荣耀和尊贵。Please remind me to put on the spiritual armour, to hold firmly to my first confidence, to stay alert and self-controlled, and to fight the good fight, so that when Jesus Christ is revealed, I may receive praise, glory, and honour.
