【诗119:96】我看万事尽都有限，惟有祢的命令极其宽广。【Psa119:96】I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.

希伯来文中“有限”是תִּכְלָה (Tiklāh)，有“极限、界限、终点、完成”的意思。因诗人遵行了神的命令，就有了从神而来的智慧看透：任何事在人看来，不论达到多么圆满，都是有限的。In Hebrew, the word for "limit" is תִּכְלָה (Tiklāh), which means "limit, boundary, end, or completion." Because the psalmist obeyed God’s commandment, he received God-given wisdom to see clearly: no matter how complete something appears to human eyes, it is ultimately limited.无论财富、权力、地位、情欲，甚至人所能达到的任何成就，终究都有界限，都不能真正满足人心。Whether it is wealth, power, status, worldly desires, or even the greatest human achievements, everything ultimately has a boundary and can never truly satisfy the human heart.

所罗门王曾拥有人类所羡慕的一切成就。King Solomon once possessed all the achievements that human beings envy. 但他发现，人生短短，财富、智慧、享受，无论在世上取得多么伟大的成就，若离开造物主，都会走到尽头，归于虚空。不知道为什么活着，也不知道生命最终要往哪里去。Yet he realized that life is short, and that wealth, wisdom, and pleasures—no matter how great one's accomplishments in this world—ultimately reach an end and amount to vanity if separated from the Creator. Without Him, one does not know why they are living, nor where their life will ultimately go.

而在新约中，我们越来越清楚地看见，神的命令超越时空界限，把我们引向永生和神永不止息的爱（约 12:50，林前 13:8）。In the New Testament, however, we see ever more clearly that God's commandment transcends the boundaries of time and space, leading us into eternal life and His never-failing love (John 12:50, 1 Corinthians 13:8).神命令的核心，就是爱——爱神，也彼此相爱。The core of God's commandment is love—to love God and to love one another.

祷告丨Prayer

亲爱的天父，感谢祢。Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You.

从前我的心常常不满足，在世上各样的事物中寻找意义；如今我知道，真正的满足只有在祢里面。In the past, my heart was often restless, searching for meaning in the things of this world; now I know that true satisfaction is found only in You. 万事都有界限，唯有祢的命令极其宽广；万物都会过去，唯有祢的爱永不止息；我的生命虽有限，却因着基督进入永恒。All things have limits, but Your commandment is exceedingly broad; all things will pass away, but Your love never fails; though my life is limited, through Christ it has entered into eternity.

天父，感谢祢让耶稣为我舍命，耶稣不是只告诉我什么是神的命令，祂更是在十字架上把神的命令——就是把爱神爱人——真实地活了出来。Father, thank You for letting Jesus lay down His life for me; Jesus did not just tell me what God’s commandment is, but on the cross He truly lived out God’s commandment by loving God and loving people in reality.让我明白祢的命令，不是命令我做这做那，而是让我真正进入祢的爱。感谢祢赐给我们圣灵，把祢的爱浇灌在我的心里。Help me understand that Your commandment is not about ordering me to do this or that, but about truly entering into Your love. Thank You for giving us the Holy Spirit and pouring Your love into my heart.

当我得到祢的爱，能遵行祢的命令，去爱人的时候，不再是感到被命令，而是甘心乐意。When I receive Your love and am able to obey Your commandment to love others, it is no longer felt as a rigid duty, but done out of a willing heart. 就像祢开启诗人一样，祢也必定开启我，明白祢的命令极其宽广，让我得着永生，住在祢的爱里与祢合一。Just as You opened the eyes of the psalmist, You will surely open mine to realize that Your commandment is exceedingly broad, allowing me to gain eternal life and dwell in Your love, united with You.
